Camp Chaos 37206is a happily married couple living in East Nashville that will help a dog when they see one in need. We take dogs off the streets of Nashville, bring them into our home, give them a warm bath, some nutritious food, and get them acquainted with our pack. After we figure out that the dog has no owner looking for it, we have the males neutered, the females spayed, and all dogs are given vaccinations, Frontline, heartworm test, and then heartworm preventative. We also give them fish oil or flax seed oil gel caps to get their coat into shape since street dogs typically have a course, lack-luster coat due to the lack of nutrition life has given them.
We've been around the block a few times now, which allows us to help good people who have found a dog and are keeping it safe until it is spayed/neutered, vetted, and ready to be adopted. We loan kennels, give tons of information, and connect good people with more good people and rescues.
The endpoint is for the dog to get all the love and vet care needed while living in a safe indoor home. With time & discipline, rescues become wonderful companions prepared for the rest of their lives as an indoor dog with outdoor privileges.
See our Resources for low-costspay/neuter options.
Connecting Good People for the Sake of the Pups
Currently, our pups are being posted for adoption through other fabulous rescues like American Lab Rescue and Mutts4Rescue. These rescues are some of the fabulous organizations that work so hard to reduce the number of unwanted pups in the South and fulfill the need for fabulous adoptable pups in the New England area.
These rescues are ALWAYS in need of good foster homes in this area who will care for the pup while it is posted for adoption. The Camp Chaos 37206 petfinder page may be empty of adoptable pups, but I assure you we are still working hard to do our part to reduce the number of healthy companion animals euthanized annually.
Please send email for more information on fostering and helping the pups in our great community as well as all over the Southeast USA!

Please help! After two long years of being on a waiting list for a dog, we have been notified by breed rescue that, at long last, our number has come up and ...
WE ARE HAVING A PUPPY!
We must get rid of our childrenIMMEDIATELY because we just know how time consuming our new little puppy is going to be and it just wouldn't be fair to the children. Since our little puppy will be arriving on Monday we MUST place the children up for adoption this weekend! They are described as: One male -- his name is Tommy, Caucasian (English/Irish mix), light blonde hair, blue eyes. Four years old. Excellent disposition, he doesn't bite. Temperament tested. Tommy does have problems with peeing directly in the toilet, has had chicken Pox and is current on all shots. Tonsils have already been removed. Tommy eats everything, is very clean, house trained and gets along well with others. Does not run with scissors and with a little training he should be able to read soon.
One female -- her name isLexie, Caucasian (English/Irish mix), strawberry blonde hair, green eyes, quite freckled. Two years old, can be surly at times. Non-biter, thumb sucker. Has been temperament tested but needs a little attitude adjusting occasionally. She is current on all shots, tonsils out, and is very healthy and can be affectionate. Gets along well with other little girls and little boys but does not like to share her toys and therefore would do best in a one child household. She is a very quick learner and is currently working on her house training, Shouldn’t take long at all. We really do LOVE our children so much and want to do what's right for them. That is why we contacted a rescue group. But we simply can no longer keep them. Also, we are afraid that they may hurt our new puppy. I hope you understand that ours is a UNIQUE situation and we have a real emergency here! They MUST be placed into your rescue by Sunday night at the latest or we will be forced to drop them off at the orphanage or along some dark, country road. Our priority now has to be our new puppy.
Thank you for your interest in these wonderful kids... Location: anywhere it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests
Minnie Pearl > Jolene: Jolene was adopted in February & became best friends & loverpup to her new parents, Cory & Heather. While Heather was adopting Pearl for herself, it seems that Cory has taken over as #1. Jolene spends her spare time shopping, hanging out at the park, playing dress-up, & cuddling.
UPDATES ON OUR ADOPTED RESCUED CAMPERS
Tiki > Tika: Tika was adopted in April by Sarah & Chris who wanted to make the rest of her life happily ever after. This beautiful girl has had her last litter of puppies & has her very own parents to call her their baby! Tika enjoys taking rides & then walks on scenic trails, playing catch in the backyard, & dreaming good ol' dog dreams when its naptime.
Lincoln:Greg & Heather adopted Lincoln in February when they decided to have their very own baby. Although he was born with multiple siblings, Lincoln enjoys being an only child. His mommy & daddy spoil him with walks, wrestling, and trips to the dog park.
Toya: Lincoln's sister Toya was adopted by Leslie & Steve in April. Their first child, Daisy, needed a playmate, so Leslie & Steve took the plunge & added to their little family. Toya & Daisy became fast friends, enjoying days of playing, walking in their neighborhood, & lots of cuddling. While Toya doesn't like to admit it, she enjoys being petted & getting tummy rubs from her mommy!
Mickey: A wonderful, motivated, outgoing, & dedicated young lady named Carolyn adopted our long-term foster Mickey July 2008. Mickey was a feral pup we were lucky to capture in February 2008. With patience, love, & a jogging habit, Carolyn has worked a miracle with this special boy. Mickey now can enjoy trips to the dog park, hiking on nature trails, giving kisses, & accepting all the love & affection that can be given!
