Elvin went missing from his East Nashville home on October 8th, 2011. He is a friendly, brindle pitty mix. Elvin is 11 years old, weighs 63 lbs, & is tall boy. He has WHITE on his CHEST and NOSE. He also has a pink heart shape on his nose. There is a scar from skin cancer surgery on his hind leg that is big enough to notice. He will approach people for LOVE & affection with his butt wagging. It has been many months since Elvin's big adventure began. We all feel like a good person picked him up & took him home to love. We will never stop looking for Elvin, whether it's in lost and found ads or as we drive the streets of Nashville. If you find him, please leash him & keep him safe. Camp Chaos 37206 is a married couple who has made it a habit to help dogs in need. We have taken dogs off the streets of Nashville, brought them into our home, given them a warm bath, some nutritious food, and gotten them acquainted with our pack. After we figured out that the dog has no one looking for it, the males are neutered, the females are spayed, and all dogs are given vaccinations, Frontline, tested for heartworms & treated if positive or given heartworm preventative if negative.
The endpoint is for the dog to get all the love and vet care needed while living in a safe indoor home. With time & discipline, rescues become wonderful companions prepared for the rest of their lives as an indoor dog with outdoor privileges. Please see the Resources page for more information.

We aim to reduce the number of healthy companion animals euthanized annually; we aim to have more animals that are "fixed" than aren't "fixed" in our Middle Tennessee community; we aim for all neglected, abused, and abandoned animals to have a warm bed, a full bowl, and a helping hand at the end of every day.

"Chaos Runs Amuck, Doggie Style" details random events that use our home as the backdrop. The setting is present tense. The characters are our multiple furever dogs and multiple foster dogs. They provide the chaos while my husband and I provide the means to an end.
