Meet Polly!


Polly is a 7-year-old, 7 lb chihuahua who is as precious as the day is long.  She is full of spunk & love.  Polly is black & tan with some white on her breast.  She has fuller hair but it isn't long, it's just not super short like some chis are.   She likes wearing a sweater, as you can tell, because she gets cold easily with her small size.  Polly had to have her left eye removed due to an injury with her previous owner.  She doesn't act like she's at a disadvantage because of it.  She is pain-free, safe, & loved, therefore she is happy.

Polly loves burrowing and can be found under the covers at the foot of the bed while sleeping.  There is a cuddle sack bed that she adores since it acts like a little cave for her.

When we're at work, she nests in her kennel which we have to keep full of blankets & she burrows to her heart's content.  She would love to have a family that works from home or is retired.  She loves leash walks and walks very well with us and the other dogs.

Polly is great with other dogs however the larger ones trampling her during excitement and play is both painful & irritating to her.  She has a little back pain if handled roughly but xrays showed nothing wrong with her back.

Polly is spayed, fully vaccinated, and heartworm negative.  She is current on heartworm & flea/tick preventatives.

Meet Brandi!

Brandi is a wonderful little Jack Russell mix that weighs 30 lbs which is the perfect size for a not-to-little-but-not-to-big pup.  She is 4 years old and mostly white with some brown on her face and neck, plus a brown spot at the base of her tail.  Brandi is a very smart girl, she doesn’t bark, and she’s housetrained.

Brandi currently lives with 3 girls and adores them as well as the mother.  She’s been with them for since they were in elementary school.  She is a bit afraid of men in general but does bond with those men who are willing to be patient with her and take her for leash walks and spend time with her in general.  Young rambunctious children don’t go well with Brandi being that they scare her if/when they are loud, move too fast, and/or get into her personal space.  Thus she’s going to be happier in a home with older children and/or women.

When her people are at work, Brandi stays in her crate.  It’s her very own bedroom and she is most comfortable there when alone.  All we do is say ‘bed’ and she goes straight to her kennel like the wonderful little girl she is!  At night when it’s actually bedtime, though, she sleeps in the people bed.  Why let such good cuddle time go to waste?

Brandi enjoys leash walks and does great on a least.  She also is a great jogger.  While she doesn’t get to jog a lot, she is always eager to go and does a terrific job.

Our little girl is cat proof; her current sibling is of the kitty sort and they get along very well.  Brandi prefers a home that will invite her onto the sofa for tv time with the family.  Being part of the family is very important to her even though it takes her a little while to learn knew people.

Brandi is current on all of her vaccinations as well as heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.  She is heartworm negative and spayed.  All in all, Brandi is a great little dog ready for her very own human to love and cherish her for the rest of her life!  And you could be the lucky one!
